(ATESOL ACT)
Description
ATESOL ACT is a professional association of people working in the field
of TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) and related
areas.
Aims/Objectives
- represent and support the interests of teachers of English to speakers
of other languages,
- ensure access to English language instruction for speakers of other
languages,
- encourage implementation and delivery of quality professional programs,
- promote study, research and development of TESOL at state, national
and international levels.
Activities
- We aim to support all teachers and learners of English
as an additional language within the ACT. We offer workshops
and seminars which cater for all professionals working
in the TESOL field and welcome mainstream teachers with
ESL students.
