Union representing ACT public school teachers (preschool to TAFE) in industrial and professional matters. Nationally, the vast majority of teachers in public education (through branches and associated bodies) are members.

Aims/Objectives

• Improving pay and conditions of all public education teachers.
• Increase overall funding of Public Education.
• To have representation on decision making bodies and consultation.
• To provide excellent services and organisation to members.

Activities

• Negotiate Enterprise Bargaining Agreements on behalf of teachers.
• Promote Public Education.
• Provide advice and services to members.
• Organise campaigns through active members.
